Looks like the latest plan is to demand that Ukraine joins NATO so they can invoke article 5. I doubt that will happen because it would basically mean either going directly to war with Russia or admitting that article 5 is meaningless.

Good. The US promised Ukraine they would defend them for giving up their Soviet nukes. Stop half-assing the support.

The US is using Ukraine as a proxy in an attempt to extend Russia as RAND explains in detail. Anybody who thinks that the US would go to direct war with Russia over Ukraine is naive beyond belief. Ukraine will be discarded like a used condom by the west as has been the fate of every proxy before them.

It’s readily apparent that the US can do no good in your eyes. Maybe ask Dylan Burns for his opinion on the matter, if you want to hear from someone who’s actually on the ground.

The history of what the US does is pretty well documented, and anybody who knows even a modicum of history understand exactly how this war will end.

I bet you’ll vote for Kamala then, to prevent Trump from making true what you fear will happen, surely.

This outcome is inevitable regardless which genocidal maniac takes office. As a side note, I don’t live in burgerland, but I sure as fuck wouldn’t be voting for someone that’s involved in a literal genocide as we speak.

You mean Budapest Memorandum. Russia claims that the US and EU violated that treaty using IMF loans for economic coercion, then Ukraine violated it by turning anti Russia, letting mass murdering NAZIs hold power banning Russian language and and attacking Russians in Ukraine, and then swaring to join NATO in their constitution. That treaty is toast since the aftermath of the Euromaidan massacre.

How much do you know about what actually happened to start this war?

Russia can claim whatever they like. They started this war. They started it in 2014 and they have escalated in 2022. Ukrainian Nazis weren’t and aren’t a big issue, certainly not as big as in Russia. The claims that Ukraine was suppressing ‘Russian minorities’ were completely fabricated. And why is it that that all post-soviet nations seem to be awfully eager to join NATO? Curious. It’s almost as if they fear being annexed by Russia. Luckily Russia isn’t currently fighting a war of aggression to annex a former soviet country, right?

No they didn’t. Go read the Budapest Memorandum. It’s short.
