Yep. If anyone is using emulators, I would suggest keeping a copy just in case this spills over to all emulators.

Old ass game systems where it’s practically impossible or expensive to get the physical games anymore, let alone the console, with some titles locked to those systems

And if you do manage to acquire a physical copy Nintendo isn’t go to see any of the money you spent on it anyway

the DMCA and it’s anti-circumvention clause has been a blight on consumers, can’t even fix trains without getting sued.

Anyone recommend a Bluetooth controller for Android? I just tried emulating a GB game for the first time, and remembered that I hate soft keys.

It’s not Bluetooth, but the Razer Kishi pro v2 is just absolutely wonderful! It even gives you a 3.5mm headphone port with a very capable amp!

I use an 8bitdo pro 2. Over kill, probably but it works with lots of devices. Phone, switch, computer.

I second this. If you already have one (or even a ps5 controller) then they are a perfect choice. I imagine a switch pro controller would work too, and you get the bonus of having a nice controller for your switch.

If you don’t have one then 8bitdo is a safe choice

I’ve got an xbox360 and a PS4 - nothing newer. I’ll have to buy SOMETHING, sadly. I do appreciate the suggestion ,though.

PS4 controllers use Bluetooth and can be paired with a phone.

I assumed they were a proprietary 2.4ghz like the Xbox 360! Hot dog. Thank you.

Wasn’t support for them dropped basically everywhere recently due to an unfixable security bug in it’s bluetooth implementation?

I’ve not tried it, but I’m sure if you can connect a PS5 controller, you can use your PS4 controller. Look it up and give it a shot!

I suppose this just means that piracy of the Pizza Emulators themselves is going to pick up, unless there are better GB/GBA emulators for android out currently.
