One of my smaller monstera pots keeps growing these little mushrooms and I’m wondering what exactly they are.

They come after every watering and dry off pretty quickly in about half a day or so.

    Try watering the plant way less, add some drainage (perlite and stones on the bottom) or consider transfering them to an inorganic medium like LECA.

    It’s too moist and otherwise you’ll get root rot and fungus gnats, which will kill your plant.

      The plant and substrate are fine, though. It’s a chunky 5-1-1 mix with a bit of kelp meal to help with drought stress. I have no fungus gnats or standing water. The little teracotta is skewer dry after 3-4 days. ^^

      I’m actually pretty happy with the little 'shrooms showing up, as they indicate proper nutrient cycling.

      I got fungus gnats after my fourth flush the first time I grew Golden Teachers :c
