To be pedantic, as Chair of the FTC, Ms. Khan isn’t a cabinet member. The FTC is an independent agency, which exists outside of the executive branch’s departments. The heads of the departments are cabinet members. Think:DOJ,DOD, State, Agriculture, Interior, Education, Energy, Treasury, etc.
