Proton’s mission, funding sources, independence, and community are some of the reasons we’re more resilient than other privacy-first companies.
It’s not foolproof, but the most stable companies I’ve worked for have had some hefty amount of employee ownership. They may not be a Microsoft or Amazon, but they know how to weather downturns and plan for a long running sustainable future. It’s not a guarantee, but it’s pretty much the dream for me
