Something is wrong with the US when China has moral superiority.

There is no logic to a ceasefire without hostage release.

    Sorry Xi is disappointed

There is no logic to bombing, starving, shooting a population that doesn’t even have hostages.

Sorry you enjoy murdering children vicariously

Of course there is, that’s literally the recipe for ethnic cleansing.

The problem is hostages are being held amongst and below the people. The tunnels are near hospitals, underneath the UNWRA building etc. It, by design, makes collateral damage impossible.

Israel could level Gaza in a heartbeat if it wanted. It would look much different than telling them what’s about to happen, in advance and to relocate. I’m not saying it’s right or clean but it’s not egregious either.

So just because there is no logic for a ceasefire not to address hostages, therefore whoever points that out must be sympathetic to killing? Sorry, that makes no sense

You say it makes no sense to stop murdering Palestinian children unless Hamas releases hostages. Like, shooting children is a no-brainer.

What makes you or Netanyahu any better than Hamas?

          Literally nothing.

No, I said there was no logic to calling for a ceasefire without addressing hostages.

It makes lots of sense. With a ceasefire Israel will stop shooting and blowing up their own hostages to be rescued.

It’s wild this is downvoted so much. Hamas isn’t going to ceasefire so if they’re not going to release the hostages then Israel doing a solo ceasefire is just saying you want more Israelis killed because that’s exactly what will happen if Hamas is able to get back on their feet. They continue to say as much.

Israel isn’t killing Hamas. They are killing Palestinians. Thousands of children. And starving those still breathing. But apparently wanting more Gazans (and others in Gaza) killed is a totally cool and normal thing, and really how gauche of me to mention it!

Maybe Netanyahu shouldn’t have helped stand Hamas up in the first place if them being on their feet is such a problem.

Ya, according to Hamas there hasn’t been a single fighter killed and you’re parroting that. FFS.

Maybe Hamas should release the hostages and lay down their arms? That’s what is going to end this, nothing less and that’s been clear for months.

Why won’t Hamas accept any of the deals Egypt has attempted to broker? They’ve been backed by multiple involved countries and Israel.

Can’t have a one sided ceasefire, that’s not how that works.
