Bulletproof? Is it waterproof? Ts&Cs say: ‘Failure to put Cybertruck in Car Wash Mode may result in damage’
minus-squareMeekerThanBeakerEnglisharrow-up62arrow-down1·6 months agolinkfedilinkI don’t know about the Cybertruck or its charging port, but cars do have rain sensors to activate the wipers automatically when it rains. Car wash mode likely turns those sensors off to prevent damage to the wipers.

minus-squarespaceEnglisharrow-up6arrow-down0·6 months agolinkfedilinkI seriously don’t understand how this could be possible. How does the car manage rain water?

minus-squareThurstylarkEnglisharrow-up6arrow-down0·6 months agoedit-26 months agolinkfedilinkI don’t think it’s meant to be driven. I mean… It’s not even meant to be a vehicle, tbh. It’s an ego trip, status symbol, or virtue signal (pick up to 3) in the form of a vehicle. The part where it can propel itself and it’s occupants from place to place is, in fact, a bonus feature.
