Bulletproof? Is it waterproof? Ts&Cs say: ‘Failure to put Cybertruck in Car Wash Mode may result in damage’
minus-squareAddition1291Englisharrow-up35arrow-down3·6 months agolinkfedilinkThis is nothing new from Tesla. My parents have a Model 3 and they can’t use a car wash at all with it. Hand wash only.

minus-squareUnderpantsWeevilEnglisharrow-up5arrow-down1·6 months agolinkfedilinkAppropriate, since I always reflexively start doing the Hand Wash gesture every time I see one.
minus-squareIkeltonEnglisharrow-up3arrow-down2·6 months agolinkfedilinkThis is definitely not true. Teslas can absolutely go through a car wash. They do recommend touchless ones, but pretty much every manufacturer does.

I was warned at the desk not to take it in a car wash, but I also drove it through the craziest rainstorm my Yankee eyes have ever seen.
minus-squareBlueJayOakersonEnglisharrow-up2arrow-down0·6 months agolinkfedilinkI think dragging them is the issue. They can get wet.
