The reasons not to eat a carnivore are the exact same reasons not to eat an herbivore, just some of them more so. The higher the trophic level of your food, the more bioaccumulation. There is no rational reason to eat animals when bountiful alternatives exist.

When I cut the cord to my TV way back when, it really felt like most people lived in an ersatz reality where people only did things they saw in TV commercials. Jesus, the “plandemic” explanation for why the Internet is dying. The Internet IS clearly dying, but this is stupid. Even if we got rid of all the bots and AI, the Internet would still be dying, because open protocols are not as exploitable as walled gardens. The value of capital in the world overwhelms the value of human labour and human interest, and all our social structures conform to the needs of capital over time.

Someone’s life always depends on it. I am askance towards other vegans who ostensibly understand it is a life and death concern, and then put that concern in the hands of a minimum wage fast food worker who doesn’t understand the significance of what they are doing.
